C3 is a growing network of people committed to becoming more like Jesus and helping others discover and follow him.

Our Core Values: What We Find Important

Diversunity: We long to touch everyone with Jesus’ love, we respect differences.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (NIV Galatians. 3: 28)

Innovation: We always strive to find more creative ways to communicate Jesus.

To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. (NIV 1Corinthians. 9: 20 - 23)

Scriptures: We will be faithful to what the Bible teaches and strive to better understand. For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (NIV Hebrews 4:12)Connectivity: We build and sustain relationships both inside and outside the fellowship.

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. (NIV 2 Corinthians 5: 18 - 19)

Integrity: We will always conduct our church by Biblical ethical principles. "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash." (NIV Matthew 7: 24 - 27)

Prayer: We will practice contemplative prayer, remembering our power is from God. Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed: "Everyone is looking for you!" Jesus replied, "Let us go somewhere else-- to the nearby villages-- so I can preach there also. That is why I have come." So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons. (NIV Mark 1: 35 – 39)

Love: We will strive to love God more and love people as he commands by caring for people’s needs.

"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." (NIV Mark 12: 29 - 31)

Evangelism: We will seek to communicate Jesus’ love both home and abroad.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (NIV Acts 1: 8)

Service: We will work to lead through service and encourage active participation. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (NIV Mark 10: 45)

Honor: We will show devotion to Jesus through intense worship, changed lives, and care for all of his creation. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation-- (NIV Col. 1: 15 - 22)

Information: We will always pursue deeper knowledge of the Community and Scriptures.

A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.  Humility and the fear of the LORD bring wealth and honor and life. (NIV Proverbs 22: 3 - 4)

People: We will focus on reaching more people and not on acquiring property or possessions. Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple (NIV I Cor. 3: 16 - 17)
